Texas Bill Requires You to Identify Yourself At All Times

story

Note: This violates the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, which requires a warrant with probable cause in order to conduct a search or seizure. According to the Kolender v. Lawson ruling of 1983, a demand for ID constitutes a search.

I live in Texas and even before reading this I have been "anal" about having my "ID" on me. I guess just knowing what assholes cops can be has made me this way.
This is just more erosion of freedon. Honestly, I don't think we have even had iota of "freedom" since the 1970's.I grew up in the 60's and 70's and life was MUCH MORE different.

Joy - hopefully saner minds will prevail, and this bill will fail.
